Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Guide Picks You Up

Your guide will pick you up from Entebbe international airport or your guesthouse and drive you to western Uganda. On your way, stretching your legs at the Uganda Equator, take photos and then proceed, lunch at the lodge then go for a boat cruise. On our way back at sunset, game drive your way to the lodge, have dinner then overnight at Rwakobo Rock Resort. Drive time: 4.5 hours

Day 2: Early Morning Game Drive

Do an early morning game drive and search for zebras, giraffes and impalas among others. Proceed to Bwindi Gorilla Park, arrive in the afternoon and relax at the lodge. At sunset comes the traditional dance from the locals/community, at the lodge! Stay at Gorilla Friends Resort. Drive time: 4 hours

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Trek the mountain gorillas of Bwindi impenetrable park Uganda. Wake up early morning to prepare for your gorilla trek; have your gear on, with your trousers, gloves, long-sleeved shirts, sunglasses, socks, hut, insect repellent, energy food, and enough drinking water. After 5 minutes, transfer from the hotel to the starting point, briefing then proceed for our trekking which is open for 2-6 hours. Spend a full hour with the mountain gorillas.

Day 4: Head For Kibale National Park

After breakfast, drive to Kibale national park Uganda through Queen Elizabeth national park on a high way to Fort Portal. See the foothills of the Rwenzori, crater lakes of Uganda as well as a big rivers from the glaciers of Mountains of the Moon Margarita peak, Rwenzori Park Uganda. Arrive in Fort Portal in about 4-5 hours. Overnight at Boulevard Excelsior Guest House.

Day 5: Drive To Kibale National Park

After breakfast, drive to Kibale national park Uganda. While there, be briefed and start trekking. You will be allowed to experience the chimpanzees for photos for a full hour. Alongside your trekking, birds and other primates are things to see. After trekking, do a simple drive to Bigodi for your lunch and then a community swamp walk at Bigodi sanctuary.

Day 6: To Kampala Or Entebbe

After breakfast, drive to Kampala or Entebbe, have lunch on the way. Drive time: 5 hours. End of this Ugandan trip!

Early morning game drive. Afternoon boat ride on the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the falls. Perfect for bird watching and photography.

Day 1: Guide Picks You Up

Your guide will pick you up from Entebbe international airport or your guesthouse and drive you to western Uganda. Stretch your legs at the Uganda Equator, take photos, then proceed. Lunch at the lodge, then go for a boat cruise. On the way back at sunset, game drive your way to the lodge. Drive time: 4.5 hours.

Day 2: Early Morning Game Drive

Early morning game drive searching for zebras, giraffes and impalas. Proceed to Bwindi Gorilla Park, arrive in the afternoon and relax. At sunset, enjoy traditional dance from the locals/community. Drive time: 4 hours.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Trek the mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable Park. Early morning preparation with gear. Transfer to starting point for briefing, then trek for 2-6 hours. Spend a full hour with the mountain gorillas.

Day 4: Head For Kibale National Park

After breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park through Queen Elizabeth National Park. See foothills of the Rwenzori, crater lakes, and rivers from the glaciers of Mountains of the Moon. Arrive in Fort Portal in 4-5 hours.

Day 5: Chimp Tracking & Bigodi Swamp

Drive to Kibale National Park, briefing then chimpanzee tracking. Spend a full hour with the chimpanzees. After trekking, drive to Bigodi for lunch and a community swamp walk at Bigodi sanctuary.

Day 6: To Kampala Or Entebbe

After breakfast, drive to Kampala or Entebbe, have lunch on the way. Drive time: 5 hours. End of this Ugandan trip!
